A free, no-clutter guide to the Yampa Valley.
Yampa Valley Guides is a free directory of activities, restaurants, shopping and services in and around Steamboat Springs, Oak Creek, Hayden and Clark, Colorado. It's built for visitors and locals who just want a straightforward list of what's here and how to reach it — no ads, no pay-to-play placements.
Yampa Valley Guides is produced by Steamboat Mountain Property Management (SMPM), a local vacation rental management company. You'll see an SMPM card linking to smpm.co on a few pages — that's the one placement on this site tied to the company behind it. It has no bearing on which businesses get listed, how they're described, or which ones earn a Best of the Boat badge; every listing goes through the same review regardless of who runs it.
The starting listings came from local guides and recommendations. Beyond that, anyone can suggest a listing through the form on this site. Every submission is reviewed before it's published, so the guide stays accurate and free of spam.
Listings marked with a Best of the Boat badge have won a category in the Steamboat Pilot & Today's local "Best of the Boat" readers' choice awards. This site isn't affiliated with that contest — the badge just credits the recognition and links back to bestoftheboat.com for full, current results.
Businesses change hours, phone numbers and hands all the time. If you spot something wrong — or you run a business here and want to add a reader coupon code — use the update a listing form and we'll get it corrected.
